Because of the corona pandemic, Camila Mendes had panic attacks while filming "Riverdale", as she now tells in an interview.

The actress Camila Mendes (26) became known through the series "Riverdale", which can be seen in Germany on Netflix. Now she says that she suffered several panic attacks while filming. The corona pandemic was to blame for this, as the 26-year-old explains in an interview with the US magazine "Health".

That was the reason

"When we originally started filming season five, I started having panic attacks, which was strange to me," explains the actress. She thinks that was because she was in Vancouver, the borders were tight and she was therefore separated from her normal environment. "You start to miss your home and your life – and you don't have your friends or community with you."

At the same time, however, she also wanted to make it clear that she was grateful that she was able to work despite everything. Taking a bath helped Mendes against the panic attacks. She has learned to "put her smartphone down, take a break from the technology and take a bath with some music and a book". She never did anything like this before the pandemic. A therapist also helps her once a week.
