Camille Combal will have waited many months before lifting the veil. Last May, the host of TF1 and his companion announced in a very subtle way the birth of their son. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Marie Treille Stefani had unveiled in Instagram story a message that did not go unnoticed: “Happy Mother’s Day. Becoming a mother made me understand how absolute this role is, a whirlwind that overturns everything. The most beautiful of miracles”. Since then, Camille Combal has confided several times in the birth of her boy and sometimes shared amazing pictures of her baby on social networks. But until now, there is one detail that the host of Dancing with the stars had preferred to keep for him: the first name of his infant.
Invited in The Ben Névert Show, Camille Combal first made tender and amusing secrets about paternity. “Those who tell you: ‘it’s cool, it changes your life’, don’t listen to them, it’s hard, he launched with the humor that characterizes him. It changes everything. In the morning you get up, before you said: ‘So what’s going on at L’Equipe, did OM win. Now you have a diaper full of mashed carrots to wash.” Having become a dad for six months, Camille Combal also explained that his companion had a habit that he did not like at all since she “just listen to sucky podcasts about it” : “It makes me phew”. In a slightly more serious tone, Camille Combal took advantage of this program to finally reveal the name of her little boy.

“We called him Pio. And so as soon as you say Pio everyone says: ‘ah yes like Pio Marmaï’, and that is very annoying, assured the host of TF1. It’s the same first name, but it has nothing to do with the guy.” If he is happy to have given this pretty first name to his son, Camille Combal first had another idea for a first name that he dropped because of the news… “I did not choose the first name. Until the last moment for me it had to be Vadim, explained the host of Dancing with the stars and Mask Singer on The Ben Névert Show. The problem is that it’s the diminutive of Vladimir, and I don’t know if you’re aware, it’s not really the atmosphere at the moment, there’s a little problem with the electricity I tell you I’ll talk, but we’re a little bit in the sauce with the guy.”
Usually discreet about his private life, Camille Combal indulged in confidence. A few months ago, the host said more about the mother of his little Pio. “She is a journalist and does TV, but we don’t want to dwell on our private life. She doesn’t want to be reduced to ‘the wife of’, I think…”, had declared the host of Dancing with the stars during an interview with Télé Magazine. To seduce the chosen one of his heart, Camille Combal had to be patient. “It was I who took the first step and it was even necessary to take seven or eight before I had what is called in sociological language a feedback, he joked. At first, it was me alone against a wall. (…) The problem is that I cannot bet everything on the physical. Camille Combal and Marie Treille Stefani said yes in July 2019 during an intimate ceremony organized in the south of France.
