Camille Combal: the host is waiting for a donor

A few years ago, Camille Combal underwent first eye surgery. A necessary operation but for which the convalescence was complicated. Indeed, the host had difficulty returning to the television sets, because of the light. “It bothers photophobia. When I did it, we were in the middle of the TPMP season so afterwards we looked like Farès in ‘Rabbi Jacob’. I must have had sunglasses for a year on TV”, he remembered, very amused. “It’s a bit like what you have when you have conjunctivitis for the first few days. You can no longer look at the sun. So yes, aesthetically, we’re not going to lie to each other, it’s quite disturbing. Having only one eye is not practical“, then clarified Camille Combal. For his second operation, the facilitator is waiting to find a donor. “It’s a disease that we barely treated thirty years ago. We lived like that with eyes where you can’t see anything at all. There’s still a lot of work to do”he recalled, later saying: “When there is a compatible donor, you have to go to the block”, concluded Camille Combal.
