Camille Kouchner: the important and poignant message of her brother, Alexandre Kouchner, after the publication of “La Familia Grande”: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

La Familia Grande is more than a book about incest: it is a book about the mechanisms of silence surrounding this crime. It is also a book about the love a daughter has for her mother, and the grief she feels when she sees this mother supporting her husband rather than her children. In his book published on Thursday January 7, 2021 by Editions du Seuil and that Current wife read, Camille Kouchner accuses her father-in-law, the famous constitutionalist Olivier Duhamel, of having abused his twin brother during incestuous sexual assaults. We learn in particular that Olivier Duhamel would have subjected “Blowjobs” to his stepson “Victor” – the first name was changed by Camille Kouchner to preserve his anonymity – from the age of 13 and this for several years. We also learn how Olivier Duhamel was a stepfather so loved by the three children of his wife, Evelyne Pisier, a surrogate father filling the absence of the biological father, the former minister Bernard Kouchner, described by the author as being too busy with his duties. The latter, who married journalist Christine Ockrent in second marriage, had another child: Alexandre Kouchner. A half-brother whom Camille Kouchner speaks with love in his book and who is keen to support his brothers and sisters. Already, before its publication, Alexandre Kouchner wanted to show all his admiration for his siblings on the social network Twitter. “I love my brothers and my sister. I salute their courage and support their choice to break the silence. We must always listen, hear and protect those who have suffered and are suffering. For everything else, I refer you to the book. May all the executioners tremble ”, he tweeted on Monday, January 4.

"It will nourish their courage"

A week later, Monday January 11, he again wanted to share his emotions on this subject, still on the same social network, with a moving, strong and necessary message.. “Thank you all for your many messages of support and affection. They touched me a lot. I will pass them on to my sister and brothers. It will nourish their courage ”, first posted the young man with the brilliant course. Before adding: “I have tried to reply to as many of your messages as possible. Forgive me if I haven't done it for yours yet. I want to respond to all these messages but I have articles, copies and late sleep … I was very moved to read many testimonials from people who have gone through the same ordeal. No child should fear their own family. To all of the survivors, you are not guilty of anything. And you are not alone. ” He concludes : "As for those who ironically and downplay, triumph and relativize, exploit and politicize my sister's beautiful book and our family history … I sincerely wish you never to undergo such a test." In his series of tweets, Alexandre Kouchner also shared the link of a Louie Media podcast unanimously greeted, "For those (…) who want to better understand the tragedy of incest and the heavy mechanisms of silence." January 4, 2021, before the publication of La Familia Grande, political scientist Olivier Duhamel announced his resignation via Twitter. The facts are now prescribed. For lack of trial, Olivier Duhamel remains, for the time being, presumed innocent. The Paris prosecutor's office, however, opened a preliminary investigation on January 5, the aim being to discover possible new victims and to verify the limitation periods.
