Mauro Tuena resigns from his post – a young woman, Camille Lothe, takes over at SVP. With her self-confident style, she has also been offended in the past.
This personality is extraordinary: for the first time in its history, the members of the SVP of the city of Zurich elected a woman to the top on Saturday. Camille Lothe is 28 years old, a political scientist by profession and has roots in Alsace. She is President of the young SVP of the Canton of Zurich. The election took place at the Hotel Krone in Zurich-Unterstrass. Lothe had been proposed by the selection committee, but a counter-candidate spontaneously formed in the hall – a co-presidium with municipal councilor Susanne Brunner and cantonal councilor Ueli Bamert. Lothe prevailed.
