Friday June 17, 2022, Arthur presented on TF1 his brand new show, Visual Suspects. At the microphone of Europe 1, the host had explained: “It’s kind of a parody of guessing show formats like Mask Singer, where at the time Who’s Who? We took the best of guessing, and parodied it.” Enthusiastic, Arthur had slipped: “I come back to pure entertainment, and to the fundamentals, with around me 80 anonymous people. It reminds me of when I presented Take it or leave it. It’s not mean, it’s not controversial, we laugh and it’s benevolent. That’s what I like the most.” If the show had only attracted 2.18 million viewers, it was renewed for a second number on Saturday July 30, 2022.
In the latest issue of Visual Suspects, whose jury is made up of Ahmed Sylla, Booder, Shy’m and Camille Lou, the latter has drawn the wrath of viewers. As jurors had to guess the candidates’ occupations, the actress and singer said, “Midwife, I’m going to the lady in 4, I’ve never seen a male midwife. You don’t want someone to pull you out of a… You don’t want a man to be a midwife at all, but at the same time he could be.“A remark that made Internet users jump, many of whom reacted on Twitter.”So sad to hear on TF1 in prime time in the mouth of a celebrity at least 20 times that a man cannot be a midwife…“; “Really, it’s absurd. We are in 2022 ma’am!“; “Camille Lou who discovers that a man can be a midwife…“; “She repeated it 10 times for us to understand… But hey, a man can be a gynecologist so that’s fine!“, can we read.
Camille Lou’s behavior does not pass
On Twitter, Internet users were also numerous to believe that the pretty blonde was doing too much. We can indeed read:As much, I really liked Camille Lou for having discovered her in 1789 and liking most of her roles, but there… I have a hard time supporting it. She overplays, she screams at everything…“; “Camille Lou is unbearable! She who is so lovely usually” ; but also : “If not Camille Lou, apart from showing her cleavage in front of the camera, what does she do?“For the moment, the actress has not reacted to the controversy…
