Campbell Scott: New cast in "Jurassic World: Dominion"?

"House of Cards" star Campbell Scott is said to have got a role in "Jurassic World: Dominion". Apparently he's playing a villain.

The dinosaur blockbusters will receive another part: "Jurassic World: Dominion" is scheduled for release in mid-2021. Campbell Scott (58), known from the series "House of Cards" and "Royal Pains", is obviously also part of the party. As the US magazine "Collider" reports, the actor Dr. Embody Lewis Dodgson.

Substitute for Cameron Thor?

Cameron Thor (60) was originally supposed to play Dodgson, as in the first "Jurassic Park" (1993). However, the actor is currently serving a six-year prison term for sexual abuse. At that time he appeared in a red t-shirt, straw hat and sunglasses and bribed Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight, 64) to take a manipulated can of shaving cream to keep stolen dinosaur embryos.

After Nedry was killed by a Dilophosaurus, it was left open what happened to the can. This is where the villain Dogson, played this time by Scott, could come into play again, the American magazine speculates.

Filming postponed due to Corona

Filming for "Jurassic World: Dominion" had already started, but had to be put on hold due to the Corona crisis. From the beginning of July, the shooting should continue under strict precautions. In addition to newcomers Campbell Scott, the "Jurassic" fans can look forward to familiar faces. Among them are Bryce Dallas Howard (39) as Claire Dearing and Chris Pratt (41) as Owen Grady.
