Already qualified for the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2022), Cameroon is playing its third group A match against Cape Verde on Monday 17 January. Where to watch the game scheduled for 5 p.m.? Télé Star gives you the answer.
Cameroon is advancing serenely towards its third group match of the African Cup of Nations. First in their group and already qualified for the round of 16, the best attack of this beginning of competition (six goals in two matches, including four signed Vincent Aboubakar) is preparing to face Cape Verde on Monday 17 January. The encounter will be broadcast on the beIN Sports 2 channel, at 5:00 p.m. French time. As a reminder, the group is the holder of the French rights of the CAN.
For Cape Verde, winning against the host country will be a real challenge. After beating Ethiopia 1-0 in the opening match, the Cape Verdeans then lost to Burkina Faso (1-0) in what looked like a final for second place in the group. The task therefore promises to be particularly difficult for the teammates of Julio Tavares, the only scorer in the selection in the competition for the moment.
Burkina Faso – Ethiopia also at 5 p.m.
The other Group A match is also scheduled for Monday. Burkina Faso will face Ethiopia, also at 5 p.m. The match will be broadcast on BeIN Sports 9. And in less than a week, the round of 16 will begin. Indeed, the meetings will take place from January 23 to 26. The quarter-finals will then follow on January 29 and 30, then the semi-finals on February 2 and 3 and finally the grand final, for its part, will be held in Yaoundé, capital of Cameroon, on Sunday February 6.
