Can Fortnite wrap up now? Popular anime becomes battle royale game


The manga series My Hero Academia by Kōhei Horikoshi has already received numerous adaptations and a few video games have already been released. However, Bandai Namco is now announcing the first Battle Royale in this universe and is thus competing with Fortnite.

Up until now, most of the released video games in the My Hero Academia universe have been fighting games or RPGs. However, the brand is now finding its way into the last man standing genre with My Hero Ultra Rumble.

Bandai Namco is making a new video game out of My Hero Academia

There are already some well-known and popular battle royales with Fortnite, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and other titles, but Bandai Namco now wants to compete with them. The company would like to offer you one Battle with up to 24 players, with eight teams of three competing against each other must.

According to the official website, there are multiple classes with attack, support or disruption characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. It is therefore important to create a balanced teamwhich complement each other well (source: Bandai Namco).

Looking at the released trailer, a few characters from My Hero Academia stand out, including Todoroki, Uraraka, Asui, Shigaraki, Toga, and Dabi – all with different and varied attacks.

When will My Hero Ultra Rumble be released?

Fans can currently register for a closed PS4 beta test on the game’s official website. However, you can participate US and Canada participants only with a valid PSN account.

It is not yet known when the game will be released, so it may take a few months. What is certain, however, is that My Hero Ultra Rumble for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and via Steam for PC should appear.
