/ Mom / Child / Covid-19: can we require a test after the child comes back from a former spouse?

Alternate custody is sometimes complicated to manage, all the more so in the midst of the Coronavirus epidemic. Nice Matin answered one of the main questions of separated / divorced parents: can we require a test after the child has spent some time with his dad / his mom?

This is a problem that many divorced couples face. How to ensure that the child respects the barrier gestures against the Coronavirus epidemic when he is at his father's / mother's house? While some parents trust their ex-partner to implement health measures, others are more worried and wonder if we can demand a test for their child when they return home.

Tuesday September 2nd, Nice Matin answered this question. According to the daily, parents cannot demand screening. Indeed, PCR (by nasal swab) and serological (by blood analysis) tests are not compulsory in France. They only become so when they have been prescribed by a doctor or if you or your child has been identified as a "contact person".

However, you can still request it, without a medical prescription, if you wish, specifies Nice Matin. Note that the test has been reimbursed at 100% by Health Insurance since July 25.
