Canal+: how to access the Max platform?

Since June 11, the Max streaming service has been available in France. Accessible via a classic subscription, the platform is also offered by various partners, including Canal+. Indeed, the encrypted channel has integrated Max into most of its packages at no additional cost, alongside Apple TV+, OCS, Netflix, Paramount+ and (perhaps not for long) Disney+. But to be able to enjoy HBO series or even Max’s sport, there are some conditions to meet, and actions to carry out.

Subscribe to a compatible Canal+ subscription

First of all, you must have one of the Canal+ subscriptions that includes Max. It is :

• Canal+ Ciné Séries (€29.99 per month for 12 months, then €39.99 per month, 24-month commitment, or €39.99 per month without commitment)
• Canal+ Ciné Séries Essentiel (19.99 euros per month for 12 months, then 29.99 euros per month, 24-month commitment)
• Canal+ Friends & Family (64.99 euros per month for 12 months, then 79.99 euros per month, 24-month commitment, or 79.99 euros per month without commitment)
• Rat+ (19.99 euros per month without commitment for under-26s)

Remember that this is Max’s Standard subscription. This offers the catalog in Full HD (1080p), on two devices at the same time and allows local downloading of up to 30 contents. To benefit from Max Premium (4K/HDR, 100 downloads, 4 users…) you will necessarily have to go directly through Max, Canal+ not (yet?) offering an option like for Netflix and Disney+.

Consult Max in the myCanal app

If you use the myCanal application, it’s hard to miss the well-promoted Max content. As for Apple TV+ in particular, Max series and films can be read directly in the myCanal interface. However, you may be required to take an activation action.

Direction your Canal+ customer area from the web, then Subscriptionand click on the button Manage my Apps In My Apps and Partners. Finally click on the buttons Manage Max And I accept and access Max. After a few seconds of activation, it’s good, Max is operational in myCanal!

Consult Max directly with the Max app

If you prefer to go directly through the Max application rather than through myCanal to watch House of the Dragon, The Last of Us and others The White Lotus, it’s possible. To do this, simply click on this link and possibly create a Max account if you do not already have one. From now on, you will be able to use Max directly, while billing will be managed by Canal+.

Canal+ specifies, however: “Please note, if you already have an active Max subscription, purchased directly from Max or an internet provider, linking your current Max account via this link does not automatically stop billing for your subscription. . We invite you to go to the customer area of ​​the Max service or the distributor concerned to manage this subscription.“
