Canal+ launches TV+, an offer with more than 80 TV channels for 2 euros per month


TV+ is the new low-cost subscription from Canal+. In addition to access to numerous linear TV channels, it includes documentaries, shows and series on demand.

With TV+, Canal+ is launching a new low-cost video streaming offer. The subscription costs two euros per month without commitment and allows access to both live and replay TV channels, as well as certain hand-picked Canal+ content. TV+ is designed as an affordable entry point to the Canal ecosystem.

More than 80 TV channels are included, including all DTT channels, multithematic channels (RTL9, Olympia TV, MTV, Planète+ Aventure, Comédie+, Infosport+…), as well as eight digital channels (Comedy Club, Clique TV, Les Nouveaux Explorateurs, Gym Direct… ). Canal+ sees this as an aggregation offer “in an increasingly fragmented market”.

TV+ also includes “a selection of premium content” available on demand and from Canal+. At launch, users can for example discover the seasons 1 of the series Baron Noir and Tokyo Vice. Enough to encourage customers to upgrade to a more comprehensive offering if they want more. The documentary Interior Sport on Kylian Mbappé is also accessible with this new format. Every month, new programs will be added to TV+. This will soon be the case with Boys Boys Boys, Florence Foresti’s latest show. Canal+ promises sporting events, series, exclusive documentaries and other shows to come.

TV+ is available from the Canal+ application. You can therefore access it from any device compatible with the app (connected TVs, Chromecast, Airplay, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, PC, Mac, smartphones, tablets and game consoles), except for boxes ISPs.
