Just like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and Netflix, Canal+ and its myCanal streaming platform add a lot of new releases to their catalog every month.
As usual, before listing the novelties, here are our favorites of the month.

The Canal+ series of the month: bloodlands (season 2)
North Ireland. The murder of an accountant confuses the police. The first clues lead them on the trail of a heinous crime. Then it is the crime of passion that is mentioned. By linking the murder weapon to Goliath, the investigators understand that the stakes are quite different. But Goliath had already been apprehended, how can he be involved in this murder?
After the first four episodes released last year, the miniseries bloodlands returns for a more generous season 2 (6 episodes). Something to delight fans of police investigations, bloody crimes and British atmosphere. As a backdrop to this sticky thriller, the ever-present conflict in Northern Ireland adds a fascinating historical dimension. The cast of faces, with the friendly James Nesbitt in the lead, is the icing on the cake. From January 9 on Canal+ and the myCanal platform.

The Canal+ film of the month: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
In this new adventure, Stephen Strange must face his responsibilities after opening the doors of the Multiverse. Helped by his allies Wong and America Chavez, he will have to face the threats of these alternative universes, and fight a mysterious and particularly formidable adversary.
Directed by Sam Raimi (evil Deadthe first trilogy Spiderman), this “Doctor Strange 2” is simultaneously a horror film, an introspective journey and a spectacular blockbuster. One opus multifaceted which stands out from the usual Marvel productions thanks to its atypical identity, and some clever and surprising sequences. Entertaining.
