Nintendo Switch Online is a subscription service that offers subscribers benefits and additional features similar to online services from Sony (Playstation Plus) or Microsoft (Xbox Game Pass). Canceling Nintendo Switch Online: what to watch out for?

The Nintendo Switch Online subscription runs for either one, three or twelve months and is automatically renewed at the end of the term. You can cancel the online service by using the automatic renewal disabled. You should no later than 48 hours before the expiration date and the next renewal of your membership. You should note that your scores will only be saved in the cloud for six months after the subscription expires. Incidentally, your membership for the online service is only linked to your Nintendo Account and not tied to the Switch console. So you can switch devices without having to cancel your subscription. How to turn off auto-renewal in the eShop on the Switch

To cancel your membership, you can turn off auto-renewal directly from your Switch console. It works like this:

  1. In the home menu, select “Nintendo eShop‘ and then the account you want to use.
  2. Tap yours in the top right user iconto get your account information.
  3. Now select on the left side “Nintendo Switch Online” out of.
  4. There you can Disable automatic renewals“.

After the end of the remaining term, the membership is no longer automatically renewed. You can continue to use the service for the remaining time. Access expires after the subscription ends.

Cancel Nintendo Switch Online: This is how it works via the browser

Cancellation via the browser works in a similar way:

  1. Sign in to your Nintendo Account on the website.
  2. Select in the settings “shop menu out of.
