E.ON: Termination is not always necessary
It is not always absolutely necessary that you terminate your contract immediately. If you have one move plans, your electricity and/or gas tariff can, for example, also move to the new address with you. Or you switch within E.ON another tariff, because the previously selected one no longer quite fits your current life situation. But maybe it is important to you that your electricity was produced ecologically.
Terminate E.ON: You should keep that in mind
E.ON has collected more information on the subject of termination on a website. There is also the reference to customer service, which you should contact if you have any questions. First make sure about the notice period at your personal rate. You can find the contract term and the associated notice period in your last annual statement or in your account in the My E.ON service portal. If you only have a basic service contract that does not have a minimum contract term, you can terminate it at any time with a notice period of two weeks. For other contracts, it is at least 1 month. In any case, check your contract.
Danger: If you do not cancel your contract in good time at the end of the contract, it will be automatically extended by another year. So make sure that your cancellation reaches E.ON at the right time.
Terminate E.ON: That’s how it works
If you are sure you want to cancel, you can do so in two different ways: Per e-mail or by post Office.
