This Tuesday, April 26, France 2 unveiled the first images of the tenth and final season of Candice Renoir, broadcast from May 20. A trailer in which we discover Commander Renoir in a very worrying state.
In less than a month, Candice Renoir come back for the 10th and final season new from the France 2 series. New episodes eagerly awaited by fans. And in the meantime, the channel published this Tuesday, April 26 a first teaser of this new season.
In this one we see the policewoman plunged into a coma. We thus discover that it was she who was hit by Brigadier Monge’s shot during season 9. Indeed, at the end of the previous season, Candice Renoir and several members of her team found themselves threatened by the brigadier in charge of the bomb threat at the police station. And at the very end of the episode, we heard a gunshot, without it being known who had been hit by the shot.
In the trailer, we first discover Candice Renoir, standing in a hospital room, trying to get a makeover, despite her paper cap on her head. But a few seconds later we hear that it is agitated at his side. In fact, they are doctors who are worried about the fate of their patient, who has just had a cardiac arrest following a gunshot wound. And the victim is therefore also Candice Renoir, intubated and in a coma. The other Candice actually represents her spiritual formand does not hesitate to give voice so that the doctors manage to save her. “Come on, let’s hurry up, let’s get busy guys. Let’s go, we’re working hard! Where’s that ball? We’re taking it out! Go, go, go…”, can we hear him chant.

But do not panic because the police should wake up well. This event will however have serious consequences throughout this season 10. Aware that things can change overnight, she will decide to fully live the present moment, especially alongside Antoine (Raphaël Lenglet). “Season 10 will be the season of finally uninhibited love between Candice and Antoine. She almost died, he thought he was losing her, they are in a hurry to live their love madly”, underlined France 2 in its press release. Even if season 10 will be the last of the series, Candice Renoir should return in another form. “I’m not sad, because Candice Renoir will come back another way. (…) In the spring, we will shoot 90-minute stories that will bounce off the end of season 10…” , had entrusted Cécile Bois to Télé 7 jours last January. The actress had notably indicated that a crossover between Candice RenoirandAlex Hugo was planned.
