The odds are clear: there is less interest in Olaf Scholz than in Annalena Baerbock – at least in the ProSieben target group.

Vice Chancellor and top candidate of the SPD, Olaf Scholz (62), answered questions from presenters Linda Zervakis (45) and Louis Klamroth (31) on Wednesday evening (May 12) in a special broadcast on ProSieben. He was clearly defeated by the Chancellor candidate of the Greens, Annalena Baerbock (40), at least as far as the TV ratings are concerned.

How the industry portal “DWDS” reports, 740,000 people tuned in from 8:15 p.m. That is around 330,000 fewer viewers than on April 19, when Baerbock was interviewed at prime time. For 14 to 29 year olds, ProSieben’s classic target group, that makes a market share of 6.4 percent. At Baerbock, the rate was still 8.5 percent.
