Candy was one of the pioneers of connected household appliances by launching its Simply-Fy application as one of the first in 2015. Since then bought by the Chinese Haier, the Italian brand has not stopped believing in this idea and intends to democratize it. at full speed, with great blows of affordable and connected products. With a total volume of 341 litres, it benefits in the refrigerator (222 litres) and in the freezer (341 litres) from so-called No Frost cold called Total No Frost Circle+ by the manufacturer. This technology saves the user the hassle of defrosting since, without humidity, the insulating layer of frost does not form, even if the temperature is below 0°C. On the other hand, it tends to dry out food in the positive cold zone and it is often because of the No Frost cold that the slice of ham that is not properly wrapped turns into a shrivelled piece of meat. To avoid this, Candy has provided a vegetable drawer in which the humidity can be regulated to ensure better conservation.
Of course, you don’t need to have your laptop handy to change the temperatures of the freezer or refrigerator. Good point, Candy has chosen electronic controls that allow precise adjustments, unlike the mechanical dials still used on entry-level models. The control panel can also be used to start super cooling or super freezing when the different compartments are likely to accommodate large quantities of food, in particular after the weekly shopping. A holiday mode is also planned: it deactivates the freezer while maintaining a sufficiently low temperature in the refrigerator to preserve the least fragile foods.
