The tone was set for this 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival: la vie en rose! Sultry in a long fuchsia pink dress trimmed with puffy shoulders, Adriana Karembeu walked the steps of the Croisette red carpet followed by Katherine Langford (dressed as Valentino) and influencer Tallia Storm (dressed as Yanina Couture), also dressed in flashy raspberry pink creations.
L’Oréal Paris muse Aishwarya Rai opted for a dress adorned with thousands of multicolored Dolce & Gabbana flowers. Wiser, Elle Fanning wore a sequined soft pink mermaid dress from the Armani Privé brand just like Clémence Botino who wore a creation set with many petals (roses of course). A true diamond of the Croisette, Eva Longoria opted for a dress made up of thousands of pieces of reflective mirror fabric. A work of art !
Many couples have also walked the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals, not hesitating to kiss passionately in front of the photographers. Pregnant, Adriana Lima unveiled her (huge) baby bump in a Balmain outfit, alongside his companion Andre Lemmers, extremely tender with his darling on the red carpet (In the past, the couple made their love official by appearing on the carpet together at the Venice Film Festival in September 2021). Not far from them, Iris Mittenaere and her companion Diego El Glaoui kissed each other full on the lips in front of the Palais des Festivals, both dressed in costumes. Omar Sy (who presented his film Skirmishers in the category Un certain regard) and his wife Hélène also climbed the steps of Cannes, the actor having not hesitated to dance happily on the title september of the group Earth, Wind and Fire (fetish music from the film Untouchables which revealed the actor in 2011). Julius Tennon, sublime in yellow, was radiant with her husband Viola Davis.
Real star couple of this evening of the Cannes Film Festival, Tom Cruise and Jennifer Connelly honored the film Top Gun: Maverick (in theaters May 25, 2022) presented out of competition. They were treated to several major surprises: the Patrouille de France drawn the blue-white-red tricolor in the sky above the Palais des Festivals during their visit, then the actor received the Palme d’Honneur just before the screening of the film.
