Un Certain Regard 2022, the complete prize list:

For its 44th edition, the Un Certain Regard section honors a first French feature film! The jury chaired by Valeria Golino rewards The worst by the director duo Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret. This dramatic comedy tells the mise en abyme of a shoot with children and teenagers. A naturalistic, almost documentary approach. The film will be released in theaters on November 23.

Among the 20 feature films presented during the fortnight, the jury prize was awarded to joyland by Pakistani Saim Sadiq who follows the meeting of a man and an erotic cabaret dancer, Biba. On the interpretation side, it was the disenchanted Sissi by Vicky Krieps for Corsage by Marie Kreutzer who was honoured, tied with Adam Bessa for Harka by Lotfy Nathan.

The prize for Best Screenplay went to Mediterranean Fever of the Palestinian Maha Haj. Also, Favorite – or special mention – for the furious Rodeo by Lola Quivoron, a dive into the very masculine universe of urban rodeo.
