The Cannes Film Festival will be postponed by two months. According to the organizer, the festival will take place in July 2021.
After the Cannes Film Festival was canceled in its usual form last year 2020, it should take place again this year. On Wednesday (January 27th) the new event period was announced on the official website of the festival. The Cannes Film Festival will therefore be celebrated from Tuesday, July 6th to Saturday, July 17th, 2021.
Originally the date was planned for May, from the 11th to the 22nd of the month. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it says on the website, the right has been reserved to postpone the period depending on the current situation.
