Capcom announces increase in early career salaries

With the end of the fiscal year fast approaching, Capcom has announced plans to increase employee salaries in the upcoming fiscal year. Thus, all salaries should be increased by around 5% on average.

But the increase does not only concern existing employees. Thus, the Japanese company intends to offer better starting salaries for graduates hired in 2025.

Currently set at 235,000 yen per month (1,445 euros), the starting salary of new graduates will increase to 300,000 yen per month, or approximately 1,844 euros. A decision which notably allows them to align with the salaries announced by Atlus last November. Please note that this amount does not include overtime or travel allowances which are paid separately.

And above all, which allows them to stand out from the competition since they are currently ahead of Bandai Namco and Koei Tecmo with their 290,000 yen per month or even Square Enix with 288,000 yen monthly.

In an era where announcements of layoffs keep coming, Capcom proves that the company is doing well and that it intends to invest in human capital. And why not, by the way, attract new talents within it.
