Capcom brings out the charming and little-known Ghost Trick: Detective Phantom

True curiosity released in 2010, Ghost Trick: Ghost Detective is the brainchild of Shu Takumi, creator of the Ace Attorney franchise. This atypical investigation game with endearing characters and elaborate animations is placed at the crossroads of point & click and a puzzle game to tell the story of Sissel, a recently deceased character who therefore begins the game as an amnesiac ghost.

From table to table, the player is responsible for using his supernatural abilities to interact and take possession of the elements of the decor (while respecting strict spatial limits, however) so as to achieve his ends by tilting events in his favor. Before even solving the mystery of the circumstances of her death, Sissel’s first objective will be to save the young red-haired girl named Lynne from the threat posed by the gunman.

Expected this summer on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, this port eliminates the pixels of the original game and displays a 1080p rendering in 60 frames per second. Optimized for controllers but still playable with the touch screen in the case of the Switch, the adventure is now translated into nine languages instead of six, including French. For the rest, Capcom has added a Collection menu including a gallery of new illustrations and musical arrangements, as well as new trophies to collect by completing the levels of the game and the puzzle-ghosts from the iOS port.
