Capcom finally shows us gameplay for Exoprimal with its mechs and armies of dinosaurs

Announced last March at Sony’s State of Play, Exoprimal returned to the front of the stage during the Capcom Showcase with gameplay and some details on this multiplayer shooter. In the absence of a remake of Dino Crisisthat’s all you’ll get for the moment when it comes to dinosaurs at Capcom.

Gameplay for Exoprimal

Exoprimal has finally revealed itself by presenting its concept to us with more details. The title will make you embody warriors in mechanized armor called “exocombatants” whose goal will be to decimate hordes of dinosaurs. It will be a primarily multiplayer game with several game modes starting with “Dino Survival” where two teams of five ex-combatants compete to carry out the orders given by the Leviathan. It is a sinister artificial intelligence, with a human face, which is at the origin of this return of the dinosaurs.

Obviously, he would have a whole battery of deadly games for armored survivors. One of the objectives of this Dino Survival presented in the trailer was to defend downed planes against huge waves of dinosaurs or “Omega Charge” which gives you control of a huge hammer that can easily decimate creatures.

As expected, it will be possible to choose different armors with unique abilities. We were thus presented the Assault class, the very well-armed classic attacker, the class Barragea hot bomber, and the class Vigilant, a sniper equipped with a rail gun. The software even has a small side monster hunter since squads will sometimes have to ally against dvery large targets like the massive Neo Tyranosaurus.

If you want to try for yourself, it is possible to register on the official site for the sessions intended to test the servers.

Exoprimal is scheduled for release in 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
