Capcom unveils the new Street Fighter 6

Finally something new for the Street Fighter series! Six years after his Street Fighter V which quickly became a million-seller, in particular thanks to the sports scene which revolves around him, Capcom teased the future of the franchise with a Street Fighter 6 announcement this Monday morning following a teaser countdown that appeared on the official website last week. The studio had also put a clue during the presentation of the new character Luke in November, since the latter was announced as also being part of the “next project”.

In SF6 we will therefore find at least two fighters: Luke and Ryu, the most iconic character in the series. Apart from a few pictures, not much new for the moment. To know more, it will be necessary to wait for the next communication, in the summer of 2022. The game should be released at least on PC and PlayStation.

At the same time, players will be able to celebrate 35 years of fighting games this year with Capcom Fighting Collection, a 10-hit anthology of the genre, including the complete Darkstalkers saga bundled for the very first time outside of Japan. The titles will have new features, local vs local play options, and optimized gameplay. Everything is scheduled for June 24 on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.

Finally a Capcom Fighting Bundle combining this pack and the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection which has already been released.
