This month, Capcom treats its fans with not one, but two Capcom Highlights events. If the program is already known, we are however not immune to some pleasant surprises.
The first meeting will take place with us on the night of March 7 to 8, at midnight, mainly to see a certain Dragon’s Dogma 2 and a new Capcom production in action. The second will go on air on Monday March 11 at 11 p.m., with the main stars Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal and the Monster Hunter franchise. We’ll break it all down for you.
Lately, Capcom is once again going through what could be called a golden age. With a few exceptions, its recent productions have been extremely successful, including Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake. The Japanese giant clearly does not intend to stop there and intends to prove it to us live.
It will therefore start with a first Capcom Hightlights scheduled for Thursday March 7 at midnight. The studio has already announced the most important part of the program. We should see the highly anticipated Dragon’s Dogma 2, expected on March 22, as well as Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. This was presented last summer during the Xbox Games Showcase. This visibly nervous action game was intriguing, particularly thanks to its original presentation of Japanese folklore.
A second presentation on other flagship licenses from the studio
The second Capcom Highlights, this time scheduled for Monday March 11 at 11 p.m., will focus on the studio’s already well-established licenses. Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal and the Monster Hunter series will be featured. We can therefore expect to see a new character from its flagship fighting game and new content for its multiplayer game with dinosaurs.
Unfortunately, the Monster Hunter segment will not allow us to learn more about the highly anticipated Wilds, scheduled for 2025. Instead, we will have a remake of the first Monster Hunter Stories, originally released on Nintendo 3DS, as well as the mobile game Monster Hunter Now.
