(Boursier.com) — By letter received on June 10 at the AMF, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CA CIB), controlled by Agricultural credit SA, declared having crossed upwards, on June 6, the thresholds of 10% of the capital and voting rights of Capgemini. She holds 19,132,973 Capgemini shares representing as many voting rights, i.e. 11.1% of the company’s capital and voting rights.

This crossing of thresholds results from a borrowing of Capgemini shares.

In the same letter, Crédit Agricole SA notably indicated, on behalf of CA CIB, that the latter acts alone, and carried out its acquisitions using its own funds. Depending on market conditions, it will continue its purchases of Capgemini shares, but does not plan to acquire control of the company, nor to implement any strategy vis-à-vis the company. CA CIB also does not plan to request its appointment or that of one or more persons as a director of the company.
