Capgemini wants to maintain separate governance and reappoint Paul Hermelin

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The digital services group Capgemini announced Thursday that it would propose at its next general meeting, scheduled for May 19, to maintain governance separating the functions of chairman and chief executive officer and to reappoint Paul Hermelin as Chairman of the Non-Executive Board.

In addition to the renewal of the directorships of Paul Hermelin, Xavier Musca and Frédéric Oudéa, the board of directors will propose the appointment of Maria Ferraro and Olivier Roussat as members of the board of directors for a term of four years, the group said in a statement.

“These proposals respond to the group’s ambition to continue the internationalization of its composition, to deepen its sector expertise and to enrich the diversity of its profiles”, added Capgemini.

Olivier Roussat “is the manager of a world player in construction, energy and transport infrastructure, a leader in the media in France and a major player in telecoms in France”, while “Maria Ferraro, a Canadian national, acquired during his career financial expertise and a solid experience in the industry, technology and energy sector,” the company said.
