On the occasion of the broadcast of a new unpublished issue of Capital magazine presented by Julien Courbet on Sunday October 23, 2022, from 9:05 p.m. on M6, Télé Star reveals the theme of the program scheduled for this week.
Iconic magazine of M6 since the beginning of the chain in the French audiovisual landscape, Capital has been presented by many television stars over the years. Journalists like Emmanuel ChainGuy Lagache, or even Thomas Sotto, embodied this program broadcast on Sundays in prime time on M6. From now on, it is Julien Courbet who has been at the helm of this magazine since joining the channel in 2018. The one who also officiates on the RTL antenna will present a new unpublished issue of Capital on Sunday October 23, 2022, from 9:05 p.m. on M6.
This week the show’s teams took an interest in tips for weathering soaring energy prices. “Energy savings: tips for reducing waste 29% is the exceptional annual increase in energy prices measured in March by INSEE. Gas, petrol but also electricity, all the energies consumed by the French have soared. Each household spends on average nearly 1,000 euros on electricity per year, consumption and subscription included, and almost as much for gas. The French are more and more numerous to look for alternative solutions to lower their bills“, said M6 in a press release.
Capital: a report on the French who heat themselves with fireplaces and stoves
“Julien Courbet visited a ‘control’ family to analyze their consumption and make him discover a whole series of good plans to spend less. Objective: reduce energy consumption by at least 25%. For it, there are simple gestures but also applications, devices or businesses that help you save money. Indeed, it is not always easy to self-discipline and think every day to implement all these small gestures which nevertheless guarantee great savings. What solutions work? How much can we expect to save?“, added the chain.
“Fireplaces and stoves: is heating with wood a good plan? Seven and a half million French people already heat themselves with wood and, last year, sales of pellet boilers and pellet stoves increased by 50%, boosted by environmental bonuses. Because the government wants to replace 600,000 oil boilers in two years. If the manufacturers rub their hands in front of these sales records, on the consumer side, Will the promised savings be there? Stable since 2005, the price of a cubic meter of wood made it possible to divide your heating bill by two, what about today? Where does the firewood used in France come from? How are the famous pellets made, which are now becoming a rare commodity? When the sector warns of the risk of shortages and rising prices, should we still invest in a pellet stove?“, concluded M6.
