Capri: its accounts in the third quarter deteriorate


(AOF) – Owner of the Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo and Versace brands, Capri generated revenues of $1.43 billion in the third fiscal quarter of 2024, a decrease of 5.6% compared to last year . Over this period, operating income amounted to $122 million and operating margin to 8.5% compared to $236 million and 15.6% the previous year. For this quarter, net income amounted to $105 million, or $0.88 per diluted share, compared to $225 million, or $1.72 per diluted share, the previous year.

This quarter, retail sales declined 4-6% due to slowing consumer demand for luxury goods, primarily in the Americas.

Alongside the publication of its quarterly results, Capri does not provide any information on its financial forecasts, given its ongoing merger with Tapestry.
