Captain America 4: a title and a release date for the Marvel film

The new Captain America 4 opus revealed its title, visuals and release date during San Diego Comic Con!

After Chris Evans in Captain America, it’s Anthony Mackie’s turn to don the costume of the famous superhero! Introduced as Sam Wilson in the MCU films, the latter was entitled to his series, Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

We already knew that the new Cap will be entitled to its feature film in the cinema but we did not yet know its release date or its title!

It has now been done since the announcements of Kevin Feige, big boss of Marvel Studios, as part of Comic Con in San Diego.

After Civil War, released in 2016, this 4th episode of the adventures of the superhero with the starry shield will be called Captain America: New World Order. (New world order)

It will land in cinemas on May 3, 2024 in the United States (May 1 in France). Marvel also took advantage of its panel to unveil a first visual, which you can admire above.

The feature film worn by Anthony Mackie will be directed by Julius Onah to whom we owe The Cloverfield Paradox.

As a reminder, the actor plays the role of Sam Wilson alias Falcon, a winged superhero friend of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), since Captain America, the winter soldier in 2014.

But at the end of the Disney + series, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson takes up the shield of Steve Rogers and agrees to be the new Captain America after a long hesitation.

The screenplay will be written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, both working on the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.
