The first set picture of “Captain America: Brave New World” not only revealed the new title of the film, but also provides the ultimate proof that Harrison Ford is becoming the Red Hulk!

- A photo from the set almost a year before its theatrical release seems to already prove that Harrison Ford will play Red Hulk in the film.
“Captain America: New World Order” will not only be Anthony Mackie’s first cinema appearance as a cap, the Marvel highlight is also an unofficial sequel to “The Incredible Hulk”. Liv Tyler is returning as Betty Ross and Time Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns for the first time since 2008. Also starring Harrison Ford (“Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny”) as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.
Thaddeus Ross has always been played by William Hurt, most recently in Black Widow. Hurt’s death in March 2022 forced Marvel to drop the role and recast it, which Harrison Ford has now done. However, fans were surprised that Thaddeus Ross, who recently only played a supporting role in the MCU, should now be embodied by a big Hollywood star.
The explanation might be that Marvel still has big plans for Ford as Ross. It’s already known that Ross has now become President of the United States in the MCU, but that’s not all. Comic book fans know that Ross always targeted the Hulk and became Red Hulk himself in his attempt to defeat the green giant.
It makes sense that Marvel would want to introduce Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World. Once Ross became Red Hulk, Harrison Ford would be able to voice the character without being on set himself. Also, not making Ross the Red Hulk one day would be just wasted potential, so why not now?
Harrison Ford’s pants give it away!
The image from the ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ set shared by star Anthony Mackie gave a first look at Cap’s new costume and also revealed the new title of the film, previously called ‘Captain America: New World Order.’ should. But one important detail was initially overlooked: Harrison Ford’s pants!
We know, of course, that when Bruce Banner transforms into Hulk, his body becomes extremely tall, broad, and green. All of his clothes are torn apart – except for his trousers, which have minor tears but always adequately cover Hulk’s private parts. Of course, Red Hulk is no different and now we can clearly see that Harrison Ford’s pants also have some tears in the photo.
The proof of Red Hulk? Maybe, but it could also be a deliberate misdirection by Marvel. At the very least, it’s unlikely that such an important detail would accidentally leak to the public.
In Germany, “Captain America: Brave New World” is scheduled to start in cinemas on May 1, 2024, and then at the latest we will know whether President Ross will become the dangerous red Hulk!
