New collaboration in sight for Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson! The two Marvel stars will meet again in an Apple film directed by Jason Bateman.

Marvel Studios 2018

They never leave each other! After having shot several films together at the beginning of their careers (The Perfect Score and The Diary of a baby-sitter) then having found themselves in the Avengers films, the interpreters of Captain America and Black Widow have a new common project.

According to Deadline, the duo will indeed shoot Project Artemis for Apple under the direction of the star of Ozark, Jason Bateman. A feature film written by debutante Rose Gilroy, daughter of director Dan Gilroy and actress Rene Russo, whose plot is mostly kept secret. We know, however, that it should take place during the space race.

This is not the first time that a project carried by Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson has been announced: the two friends were originally to share the poster for the romantic action film Ghosted, also for Apple. But a scheduling conflict ultimately prevented the Black Widow star from taking part in the project currently being filmed. Ana de Armas was chosen to replace her.

Whoever lends his voice to the iconic Buzz Lightyear in the next Pixar film has in any case been very enthusiastic on Twitter at the idea of finding his Marvel playmate for Project Artemis! No release date has yet been announced.
