Concerned relatives launched a large-scale search operation on Saturday night for a 37-year-old who was driving a car. Unfortunately, in the morning hours there was a sad discovery.

On Friday evening, the 37-year-old local intended to drive his car downhill from a hunter’s hut in Pfunds. For an unknown reason, the car went over the edge of the road and fell around 150 meters over steep terrain. Relatives raised the alarm. Since the man was not with his relatives at the agreed time, a large-scale search operation was carried out by the Pfunds and Ried fire departments, the mountain rescue service and the police started.Car on the roof in a stream bedSaturday morning, around 6:40 a.m., the vehicle was found lying on its roof in a stream bed. A short time later, the victim, who had presumably been thrown from the vehicle, was found in the area of ​​the crash path.
