Two young paramedics were slightly injured in an accident with an ambulance in the Puntigam district of Graz on Thursday.
Another accident involving an ambulance has occurred: A 59-year-old was driving his company car north on Rudersdorfer Strasse and wanted to cross the Puntigamer Strasse/Puchstrasse intersection when an ambulance came along Puntigamer Strasse heading west Follow-up horn and flashing lights rolled in. The 59-year-old’s vehicle was thrown against a car standing at the intersection and came to a standstill lying on the roof. A 19-year-old paramedic and a 19-year-old paramedic were in the ambulance. Both suffered minor injuries and were treated at UKH Graz. The other people were unharmed. The Graz professional fire brigade was deployed with eight men and two vehicles.
