Pink’s husband gives an update after his neck surgery

Carey Hart (46) delivered a health update to his fans. The husband of singer Pink (42) had a spinal disc in the neck surgically replaced two days earlier. “Here is a look at the hardware in my body,” wrote the former motocross professional last Saturday for an x-ray of his neck.

In the past month, Hart had already underwent an operationwhere an artificial disc was inserted into the spine to mimic its natural structure and movement. The first procedure with the prosthesis had already helped drastically against his scoliosis and for a better position of his hips, explains Hart in his post. His doctor said the re-operation would do wonders for his head and pelvic alignment.

Walk for recovery

Before and after the second operation, Hart kept his followers up to date from bedside on a regular basis. “Mama Pink loves pictures of me with that damn hairnet,” he wrote, among other things to a picture with him in surgical clothes. He posted shortly after his release a short clip, in which he can be seen taking his dog for a light walk. Two days after the operation, he feels good, he explains to the camera. He could also move his neck a bit again. He only takes some Valium to relieve the muscle spasms, but he is ready to “recover quickly and tackle again”.

Singer Pink and Carey Hart have been married since January 2006. The two have two children, daughter Willow Sage (10) and son Jameson Moon (4).
