Actress confirms birth of her third child
Carey Mulligan and musician Marcus Mumford have been married for over ten years.

Carey Mulligan has confirmed in an interview that she has become a mother again. This is her third child with her husband Marcus Mumford.
Actress Carey Mulligan (38) and musician Marcus Mumford (36) have become parents for the third time. Mulligan has now confirmed this in an interview with “Vogue”. The first rumors about the birth of the child emerged at the beginning of September. “Here I am, ready for Vogue,” the actress declared at the start of the interview for the November issue, which she conducted in a London cafe with her baby in her arms. According to the interviewer, after she discovered a stain on her blouse, she said to her offspring: “I’m going to change your diaper now, and then we’ll find Mom another shirt.”
The actress did not reveal the gender of the baby in the interview, but only described everyday family life with Marcus Mumford in the countryside outside London with trips to school and Sunday meals as “completely normal”. However, the couple’s two careers would also present “challenging logistics.”
Wedding in 2012
Mulligan has been married to musician Marcus Mumford, frontman of the folk rock band Mumford & Sons, for around ten years. The two got engaged in the summer of 2011 and tied the knot a few months later in April 2012. In 2015, Evelyn (7), their daughter, was born. Son Wilfred (5) followed around two years later. A spokesman for Mulligan confirmed the US magazine “People” last January that the couple was expecting a third child.
