Carey Mulligan is expecting another child with her husband. The two are already parents to a daughter and a son.
Carey Mulligan (37) becomes a mother again. The British actress and her husband are expecting their third child together. That’s what a spokesman for the 37-year-old said confirmed by the US magazine “People”..
Mulligan has been married to musician Marcus Mumford (35) for around ten years. The two got engaged in the summer of 2011 and said yes a few months later, in April 2012. In 2015, Evelyn (7), their daughter, was born. Son Wilfred (5) followed about two years later.
The British woman is known, among other things, for films such as “Drive” by director Nicolas Winding Refn (52) from 2011 or from “Promising Young Woman” by Emerald Fennell (37). She was nominated for an Oscar for the revenge thriller from 2020 and for “An Education” (2009). Mumford, on the other hand, is the frontman of the band Mumford & Sons.
She felt alone
In November 2022, Mulligan had explained in an interview with “People”.that she suffered from postpartum depression after her first child. She felt “very alone” at the time, was “very scared and also very confused by this whole experience”. Being able to return to her work as an actress helped her at the time. Working on the film “Suffragette” and the “incredible support” she received put her back on the path to finding herself again.
