Carla Bruni has given rare insights into her private life. The wife of ex-President Nicolas Sarkozy posted pictures of their daughter on Instagram.
Carla Bruni, 54, rarely gives an insight into her family life with husband Nicolas Sarkozy, 67. But now the former supermodel has shared private photos of their daughter Giulia, 11.

On her Instagram account, the native Italian posted three cute snapshots of the girl on the occasion of her daughter’s birthday. The recordings were apparently made on summer vacation: the sun is shining and Giulia is standing in flip-flops and a T-shirt in front of a restaurant.
Rare birthday snaps
Another picture shows the girl with a large beach bag looking at the sea, in the last photo she proudly holds a pearl bracelet into the camera. “Happy birthday, my love!” Bruni comments on the series of pictures. “How lucky to be your mother for eleven years!” In addition, the pop musician puts hearts and the hashtags “Giulia” and “proud mom” as well as other congratulations in English and Italian.
Carla Bruni has been married to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy since 2008. She also took French citizenship that year. In addition to daughter Giulia, she has another child: son Aurélien Enthoven, 21, whose father is the philosopher and presenter Raphaël Enthoven, 46.
