Carmat ALCAR.PA announced on Tuesday the appointment of Pierre Bastid as chairman of the group’s board of directors.
Director since 2018, Pierre Bastid is one of the main shareholders of the manufacturer of artificial hearts, of which he holds 13.5% of the capital via the entities LOHAS and Les Bastidons, Carmat specifies in a press release.
He will replace Alexandre Conroy, who resigned for personal reasons.
Carmat also announced the resignation of André Muller, director, and specified that its board of directors currently consists of ten members, including five independents.
