Carmat launches a capital increase of 15 million euros

(AOF) – Carmat is launching a capital increase for an initial amount of 15 million euros as part of its short-term financing. The designer of the artificial heart expects the extension of its financial horizon until the beginning of May 2024, in the event of completion of the initial capital increase “excluding extension clause and over-allotment option”. After the offer, Carmat’s financing requirement over 12 months will be 37 to 55 million euros

This operation will be carried out by way of a public offer with elimination of preferential subscription rights. The initial amount may be increased up to 17.25 million euros in the event of full exercise of the extension clause and up to 19.8 million in the event of full exercise of the extension clause and the over-allotment option.

The subscription price is 3.99 euros per share, i.e. a discount of 30% compared to the average volume-weighted average price of the last five trading sessions preceding the setting of this subscription price. Subscription is open from January 18 to 25, 2024 inclusive.
