(CercleFinance.com) – Carmat today announces the launch of a fundraising of around 15 million euros via the issue of new shares at a fixed price of 3 euros per share.
This operation is aimed at specialized investors and individual investors (via the PrimaryBid platform).
Stéphane Piat, Managing Director of Carmat, said: ‘This new financing comes at a crucial time, as our sales begin to grow significantly. The progress made both in the commercial context, with in particular the formation of new centers which continue to refer an increasing number of patients to us, and in the context of the EFICAS study, the pace of which is accelerating, demonstrates the strong demand for our therapy, the interest of which is gradually spreading within the medical community’
‘All of these promising advances allow us to anticipate substantial growth in our sales over the coming months, with a turnover estimated at around 14 million euros for 2024.’
The company estimates its financing needs over the next 12 months, according to its current business plan, at around €45 million.
