Carmila: A subsidiary of Axa brings Carmila, the Carrefour shopping center property owner, down on the stock market


(BFM Bourse) – SCI Vendome Commerces sold a block of 5 million shares at 13.60 euros per unit. This puts strong downward pressure on the stock.

While the financial markets are in very good shape this Friday, the Carmila property company is not celebrating. The group, which owns shopping centers and of which 35.5% of the capital is controlled by Carrefour, gives up 11.85% to 13.84 euros and hits a low since the beginning of July.

According to our information, which confirms indications previously reported by the Bloomberg agency, SCI Vendome Commerces, a subsidiary of the insurer Axa, sold a block of 5 million shares at a unit price of 13.60 euros. Or about 3.5% of the capital of the property, according to calculations by BFM Bourse.

What weigh on the Carmila title, since this price of 13.60 euros reflects a discount of 13.4% compared to the closing price of Thursday, of 15.7 euros.
