Lhe 4,100 administrative justice officials learned it by email on February 8: they will be trained in the “fight against sexual and gender-based violence at work”. The courses can last up to twenty-two hours per person, spread over two years. The announcement is the logical follow-up to an agreement signed in November 2018 with public service unions providing for such training. In June 2019, the State awarded an interministerial public contract to three specialized firms, for 1.2 million euros. Among them was Egaé, the consulting firm founded by Caroline De Haas in 2013. So everything was done according to the rules.
The result is nonetheless incongruous, for at least two reasons.
