Carsten Maschmeyer celebrates his 62nd birthday this Saturday (May 8th). Wife Veronica Ferres (55) congratulates with a photo together on Instagram. “Happy birthday, my tiger!”, The actress writes about the picture and adds the hashtag # team4ever (“Always a team”) and a little heart emoji. Many stars joined the birthday wishes under the photo, including Viktoria Lauterbach (48), Axel Schulz (52) and Alec Völkel (49). Maschmeyer himself left a heart emoji in the comments. Ferres’ daughter Lilly Krug (19) has congratulated the entrepreneur in several Instagram stories. On the first published snapshot, Krug wrote: “Thank you for always being there for me. I am very grateful for our large family!”
In 2014, Maschmeyer and Ferres tied the knot, for both of them it was their second wedding. The entrepreneur was married to Bettina Maschmeyer from 1989 to 2009, with whom he has sons Marcel and Maurice. Ferres was married to the film director Martin Krug (63) from 2001 to 2010, and their daughter Lilly comes from the marriage.

TV lion Maschmeyer recently celebrated a special moment with his “Höhle der Löwen” colleagues. “The next Löwen season is in the can!” Wrote the 62-year-old to a set picture. “I had 18 days of shooting this year, around 90 great startups with mega innovation pitched in the cave.” As a thank you to the entire team, he “brought cozy hoodies to the set. I hope it’s a nice memory of our wonderful time together in Cologne.” The season will then be shown in the fall. The spring season currently runs every Monday at VOX.
