Two of the three robbers who brutally attacked a Salzburg jeweler family in August 2019 are in prison: their guilty verdicts have now become final. Meanwhile, the executive continues to search for the accomplice.
Two Czechs (43, 39) were sentenced to 18.5 and 20 years in prison in November 2021. The duo and an as yet unknown accomplice robbed a Salzburg jeweler family in their home, a villa in Koppl (picture), in August 2019 and took them hostage. The Supreme Court has now dismissed the appeals of the convicts and upheld the guilty verdicts. The higher regional court in Linz only has to decide on the amount of the sentence. Meanwhile, the investigators are still looking for the third perpetrator: the local authorities are also working together with investigators from France.
