Cash and cards gone – thieves robbed a saleswoman in a flower shop

One distracts the saleswoman, the other is looking for lucrative loot: This is how two strangers acted in a flower shop in Feldkirch.

The theft occurred as early as Monday evening at around 5:45 p.m.: A man asked the saleswoman, who was the only one in the shop, about large flower pots, so she went with him to the back of the shop. She showed him a few copies, and the supposed customer only asked questions in English. Meanwhile, another man entered the store, looked around the checkout area and went into the adjoining workroom. There he must have stolen the wallet from the handbag of the saleswoman, including hundreds of euros, driver’s license, e-card and the like. The stranger left the store through the back entrance. Shortly thereafter, the person who had previously been so interested in the flowerpots also left. Immediately afterwards, the saleswoman noticed the theft. A new clientele stated that they had seen a large car, probably gold-colored and similar to a VW bus. The driver should have a beard. The Feldkirchen police are asking for information on 0 59 133 2200.
