Cash for Rares Austria: Willi Gabalier has found the new moderator

Willi Gabalier ("Tog & Nocht") is not only one of the best dancers in Austria as well as the older brother of music greats Andreas Gabalier (35, "Hallihallo"). The 38-year-old has recently been able to call himself a TV presenter. In autumn he succeeds Roland Gruschka in the ServusTV production "Bares for Rares Austria". Shooting is slated to begin later this month.

"It is a great honor and pleasure for me to become part of the ServusTV family", the dancer and musician is quoted by the Austrian private television station. What qualifies him for the job? "As an art historian, I love antiques and exciting stories from their past," says Gabalier. The show, which is a counterpart to the German, award-winning original with Horst Lichter (58), has been available since December 2019. Lights and well-known retailers of the German edition, such as Wolfgang Pauritsch (48), have so far repeatedly appeared as guests Appearance.

Another show will be shot in July

As a moderation novice, Gabalier can not only look forward to "Cash for Rares Austria". Because from ServusTV he gets another show tailored to his body. For "Heimatsterne", the 38-year-old will travel across the country from July to look for talent. "He not only wants to find people with impressive talents, but also to show the emotional and extraordinary stories that are hidden behind the talents," reveals the broadcaster. "Heimatsterne" is also set to celebrate its TV premiere in autumn.
