Catana: towards growth of around 60% over the current financial year – 01/17/2022 at 18:25

(AOF) – Catana lifted the veil Monday evening on its activity for the first quarter of 2021-2022. Between September and November 2021, the pleasure craft specialist achieved a turnover of 29.7 million euros, a jump of 64.4% over one year. The group says it has benefited for several months from the success of its BALI range in the multihull market, ranges essentially made up of new models, but also from a climate of sustained global economic recovery.

To increase its production volumes, Catana has managed to recruit 164 people since the start of the year, including 120 in France. And this, despite a shortage of candidates, underlines the group. The roadmap still provides for the creation of nearly 70 additional positions in France over the next 4 months.

However, Catana is not immune either to the strong tension which weighs on the deliveries of raw materials with the consequence of organizational adaptations which require a lot of agility and can generate additional costs.

Despite some disruptions in deliveries, the group ensures that the situation remains under control and does not call into question its objectives.

The first quarter thus confirms the prospect of strong growth over the current financial year of around 60%, a financial year which promises to be “exceptional”, indicates Catana.

The group also enjoys high visibility with a very solid and growing order book.

Over the current financial year, after the 27.8 million euros invoiced in this first quarter, it represents an additional invoicing potential of 133 million euros, i.e. a turnover of 160 million euros over the first quarter. exercise in progress. For the next financial year 2022-2023, 190 million euros in orders have already been signed. Finally, the visibility also extends to the 2023-2024 financial year with already 80 million euros in firm orders.
