At Paris Fashion Week, Cate Blanchett presented a glamorous jumpsuit that made her an eye-catcher.
At the Giorgio Armani Privé fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, it was not just the models on the catwalk that attracted attention. Before the presentation of the new collection, Cate Blanchett (55) was photographed by photographers in the French capital before she took her seat in the front row of the fashion show alongside other celebrities.
The two-time Oscar winner presented a black, strapless jumpsuit with a very deep V-neck at the event, underneath which she appeared to be wearing nothing. The elegant outfit with glittering decorations was further spiced up by a cape element that started at waist level. The Australian-American actress wore her blonde bob in a wet look and styled back in light waves. Natural make-up rounded off the look of Cate Blanchett, who was accompanied to the fashion show by British actresses Wallis Day (29) and Jodie Turner-Smith (37) as well as French film star Eva Green (43).
The 55-year-old also had another guest at her side who is rarely seen: her 16-year-old son Ignatius. At the event, she sat next to Ignatius, who was dressed in a cream-colored suit. Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton (58), who have been married since 1997, have two other sons, Dashiell (22) and Roman (20), and a daughter named Edith (9).
Cate Blanchett continues to be present on the big screen
In addition to her foray into the fashion world, Cate Blanchett, who has already won Oscars for her roles in the films “Aviator” (2004) and “Blue Jasmine” (2013), is also still present on the big screen. The film “Rumours”, in which she can be seen as German Chancellor “Hilda Ortmann” alongside Alicia Vikander (35), celebrated its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May. The science fiction action comedy “Borderlands”, in which Blanchett also plays the leading role, is also due to be released this year. According to the US industry portal “The Hollywood Reporter”, she is also set to appear in front of the camera with Michael Fassbender (47) for the spy thriller “Black Bag”, directed by Steven Soderbergh (61). Filming has reportedly been underway in London since May.
